After a year of searching for just the right Dane, I was put in contact with Susan Yotive (Krisda Danes)
and from the time Miss Joy got off of the airplane in Roanoke VA in Feb. 1996 she became
my best friend and constant companion.

Whether going to dog shows, hanging around the house, participating in the local 4-H pet club being the
guiney pig for small children to learn about dogs and dog shows or in the whelping box she always gave 110%,
always happy to do what was asked of her as long as she was by your side.

Always a joy to live with, a protector when she needed to be & happy-go lucky at all other times.
Her name fit as she was and always will be thought of as the Queen
here at Monarch & our memories of her will always be treasured.

Thank you Susan Yotive for placing Joy with us and for being such a great friend over they years,
we look forward to many more years of working with you.
